When we face resistance to something, it often feels like a negative thing because we don’t want to do it or we hesitate. But if we see resistance as a thing, like a block in our way, it’s easier to understand. This block can come from inside us, like our own thoughts or habits. Trying a different way can be hard because it means admitting there might be a better way to do things. When we talk about using “The Checklist Manifesto” in our daily lives, it’s important to be open—open in your mind, in your thoughts, and especially open to what it might mean for you personally.
