The technical aspects in media production can influence a story as well as the perspective of the audience. While it is important to consider the context when choosing the technical tools to use, Paul Glaser believes that keeping everything simple is the best way to go for individuals who are broadcasting remotely.

With 12 Emmy Nominations, 1 Emmy Award, and a DuPont Columbia Award under his belt, Paul Glaser is one of the most innovative, experienced and respected Broadcast Sound Engineers in the business. In May this year, Paul marks 45 years at the American Broadcasting Company in New York. He has had multiple roles from mixer to the technical planning of large special television events, working in the White House, and his contributions have helped put new shows on the air from their inception. Paul’s strengths include technical engineering, management of manpower and making the complexities simple.

Paul is constantly responding to unprecedented challenges helping the network inform viewers around the world. He currently mixes more live Television at ABC than almost any other sound person working in TV today.
